By accessing this website (the "Site"), or booking any tutoring session (the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use the Site or Services.

2. Who We Are

Ryan SAT Prep ("we," "our," "us") provides online one-on-one SAT tutoring and related educational resources. All tutoring services are conducted by qualified SAT tutors selected and trained by Ryan SAT Prep.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or have a parent/guardian's consent) to book services or make payments. By using the Site you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Booking & Payment

Pricing: Session pricing is displayed at the time of booking. Pricing may vary based on session type and duration.

Payment Processor: We use Stripe to collect and process payments. By booking, you consent to Stripe's processing of your payment information.

Payment Timing: Payment is collected at the time of booking, before the session takes place.

Cancellation Policy:

More than 12 hours before start → no charge.
12 hours or less before start → 50% cancellation fee.
No-Show: Failure to attend without notice counts as a completed session and is billed in full.

5. Code of Conduct

You agree to:

Be respectful toward tutors and other users.
Use the Services only for lawful educational purposes.
Refrain from recording or redistributing session content without written permission.

We may suspend or terminate access to Services for violations of this code.

6. Intellectual Property

All Site content—including text, graphics, logos, lesson plans, and educational materials—is the property of Ryan SAT Prep or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-transferable license to use materials solely for your personal study. Reuse or redistribution of paid resources accessed through the Site is prohibited.

7. User-Generated Content

If you submit feedback, reviews, or other materials ("UGC"), you grant Ryan SAT Prep a perpetual, royalty-free license to use, display, and adapt that UGC in any medium. You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to everything you submit.

8. Disclaimers

No Guarantee of Specific Results: While many students improve, individual outcomes vary. Ryan SAT Prep does not guarantee specific test scores or score improvements.

Informational Purposes Only: Tutoring and resources are educational and not a substitute for professional academic or psychological advice.

"As-Is" Service: The Site and Services are provided without warranties of any kind.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ryan SAT Prep, its owners, and tutors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site or Services. Our total liability is capped at the greater of $100 or the fees you paid us in the past 12 months.

10. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify Ryan SAT Prep against claims, damages, or losses arising from: (a) your breach of these Terms, or (b) your misuse of the Site or Services.

11. Privacy

Our separate Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal data. It is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

12. Third-Party Links

The Site may link to external websites. Ryan SAT Prep is not responsible for their content or practices.

13. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach, Florida, and you consent to jurisdiction there.

15. Pricing & Promotion

All prices for Services are subject to change at any time without prior notice. If you purchase a Service and we later change its price or run a promotional offer, you are not entitled to a refund or credit for the price difference. Prices at the time of purchase are final. Refunds are not guaranteed, and they are at our discretion.

16. Ownership and Attribution of Third-Party Resources

Some resources, materials, and content available on the Site are the property of third parties. Ryan SAT Prep does not claim ownership of such third-party content, and all rights remain with their respective owners. These materials are provided for informational and educational purposes only.

Ryan SAT Prep does not derive, seek, or claim any monetary benefit from third-party resources displayed, linked, or otherwise provided on the Site. If you are a rights holder and believe your content is being used improperly, please contact us to resolve the matter promptly.
